Building the Dwell House: Behind-The-Scenes

What does it take to build the Dwell House, exclusively from Abodu? Quality craftsmanship, a discerning eye for design, and a conscious effort to minimize our environmental impact whenever possible.

Our latest unit comes from a collaboration between Abodu, Norm Architects, and Dwell. Exceptional in design, the Dwell House is distinguished by the thought that goes into each detail. Everything has been carefully curated to ensure comfort and quality, from its honest materials, to its California-meets-Copenhagen aesthetic, to its luxurious finishes and furnishings. It’s that level of care that makes Dwell House one of the most premium ADUs out there.

Like all of our units, the Dwell House is built at our factory, where we can uphold our high bar for quality. By building it offsite, we cut down on site visits and limit material waste, reducing our carbon footprint. The Dwell House also features electric appliances, energy-efficient insulation, top-quality interior finishes, and a bifold glass window to maximize natural light (and cut down on lighting usage). All that, and more, because the Dwell House is built with sustainability in mind.
