John Geary

Co-Founder & CEO

John Geary is Co-Founder and CEO of Abodu, the ADU company. Abodu builds backyard homes (also called Accessory Dwelling Units or ADUs) that expand a property's livable space. John co-founded Abodu to streamline the process of installing an ADU, and has created an innovative concierge service that project manages the entire process of building an ADU from permitting to installation, in under six months. Prior to founding Abodu, John spent over three years at Bain and Company, a global management consulting firm, where he worked as a real estate strategist to Fortune 500 company executives, and a consumer products consultant.

Eric McInerney

Co-Founder & COO

Eric McInerney is the Co-Founder & COO of Abodu, the ADU company. Eric was initially inspired to create a scalable, replicable and repeatable way to mass produce units of housing quickly for areas in need of housing. He found that ADUs were among the most rapidly deployable and cost effective ways of building units of housing quickly and efficiently. Eric co-founded Abodu in 2018 as a way to easily expand a property's livable space and create ultimate flexibility for homeowners, with ADUs. Prior to Abodu, Eric worked as a Bain management consultant in industrials and operations. He is a licensed CA General Contractor, and an unlicensed architecture and design geek.
